Ivy, before I put money down on the hardware, I need to know whether the clinic’s renovation timeline has budged since our last call.

It has, slightly, though nothing that throws us off course. We’re still aiming to reopen on June 3, but the electricians won’t wrap up until next Friday, and that’s assuming the inspection goes smoothly.

Then suppose the inspection slips: would you rather have the cabinets and reception desk hardware held back, or should I plan around the original date and trust that things will fall into place?

Please hold the delivery until the inspection has passed. Once the electricians are out of our hair, we’ll have a much clearer sense of whether the installers can start the following Monday.
